CREATIVE ART RETREAT - MINEHEAD

Wanting a special kind of holiday? Our Art retreat might just be what you have looking for. We have spent a lot of time making this the perfect creative winter getaway. Giving you an opportunity  to completely relax and unwind, not having to worry about a thing! You will be able to totally submerge yourself in painting and creating!

You will be staying in luxury character cottages located in the oldest part of Minehead. These unique properties are full of original features, cosy fires and hot tubs set in stunning private gardens.

Delicious food prepared by local caterer Annie Davies will be served every day. Annie is also very well known for her cakes and scones, these cakes are to die for (I'm not even joking!!).

A perfect setting for inspiring innovation and boosting creativity. Ideal for individuals and groups who want to take their art to the next level. Over two full days I will be providing workshops as well as support for your art projects. This is the perfect opportunity to dive into a project or for many of you, to revisit painting since leaving school. What ever your ability there will be something for everyone. We will work with acrylics, watercolours, gold leaf, Gelli plate printing, oil pastles, paint pens and many more mediums. 

I will teach you ways to find inspiration individual to you, using colours you love as well as a chance to brush up on some of your drawing skills. Discover the joy of art with this retreat; no experience needed! Experiment, paint intuitively, or create from observation – perfect for any skill level.

Materials will be provided for workshops, however, if you have supplies at home that you wish to try out or learn how to you use, this is the time to bring them. There will be a list of essentials for you to bring along which I think would be useful.
